Officials said the vehicle was traveling south on Highway 17, when it left the right shoulder of the roadway, continued driving in a ditch, jumped a creek and collided with an embankment. Dunn said the vehicle then overturned several times, ejecting all five of its passengers.
Four people were killed in a single-vehicle Holmes County accident. The victims are identified as Shamar Walden, 26, Tyrone Williams, 30, Jorel Johnson, 29, and Royce Mayze, 34, all of Lexington. Law enforcement arrived on the scene around 10:30 a.m Sunday, but the accident probably occurred sometime after midnight Sunday on Highway 17, north of Lexington.  Check back for more information as it becomes available.

R.I.P Cousin Tyrome Williams my heart goes out to the whole family especially his mother (my cousin) I wish I was there to comfort you all. Vineal ( his mother) please be strong cuz. Plus, condolences to the other families, so horrible don't wish this on nobody. My family sends prayers also. I can't even begin to know what your going thru. Love you all. Even, though we are miles away I feel the pain as if I were there to see him everyday.
