Kimberly Copelan, 18, and Joshua Page, 19, killed in head-on collision on Highway 469 in Peal, MS

Two teens, killed in a Pearl accident Friday evening, have been identified. Two vehicles were involved in the accident on Highway 469 south of Highway 468. A Dodge Ram pickup collided with a gold Infiniti. Kimberly Copelan, 18, of Clinton was the driver and passenger, Joshua Page, 19, of Florence were in the Infiniti, that was completely destroyed from the impact. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was taken to a hospital by Air Care with life threatening injuries." The Dodge Ram pickup was traveling northbound," said Trooper Henry. "There was a gold Infiniti I-30 traveling southbound. The Dodge Ram crossed into the southbound lane and struck the gold Infiniti head on." Trooper Henry says they have not determined why the pickup truck crossed over into the lane.
