Morton Football Player Dies in Car Crash
According to Rankin County Coroner David Ruth, 18-year-old Lane Bailey was driving eastbound on I-20 in Pelahatchie when he wrecked.
Ruth says the vehicle rolled multiple times; Bailey was ejected from the car and died at the scene.
The coroner says it doesn’t appear Bailey did anything wrong to cause the wreck.
