Newly engaged couple killed in DeSoto crash leaves behind 6 children

The couple leaves behind six children. Maher had four kids between the ages of 10 months and 9 years old; Wyatt had two kids of his own.

This campaign is to raise money to help the family deal with the loss of newly engaged Tina Maher & David Wyatt who passed away on 17 February 2015 from an auto accident.  Tina is survived by her children, Christian, twins Mycah and Mya, while David is survived by Conner and Alexander and their 10 month old child Michael Ray.  Tina's kids will be supported by her parents and who both work in the food industry while Conner and Alexander live with their mother.

A car carrying David Wyett, 36, and Christina Maher, 27, struck a utility pole Tuesday night, throwing the couple from the car. Both died as a result of their injuries. The accident happened on Baptitst and Pleasant Hill roads in DeSoto County. Power was knocked out briefly for at least 60 Entergy Mississippi customers but has since been restored. Weather was determined not to have been a factor, but alcohol may have been.
