Teen killed overnight in Henry Co. crash

The Missouri Highway Patrol says a 14-year-old girl at the wheel of a Jeep was killed in an overnight crash in Henry County.

Friends and family members released balloons Tuesday night after the death of a teenager behind the wheel.

All of the victims were from Clinton, Mo., which is about 75 miles southeast of Kansas City.
According to the MHP crash report, a 14-year-old girl was driving a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee around 10:30 p.m. Sunday on NW 251 Rd in Henry County when she lost control of the vehicle. Authorities say a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by  Raven S. Allison lost control while going around a curve on NW 251 approximately 1 mile south of NW 500 Rd. The vehicle rolled, and Allison was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene around 10:30 p.m. Two 14-year-old girls and a 16-year-old boy were in the Jeep at the time of the crash, all of whom refused medical treatment.
