Deadly crash in Christian County claims life of young woman

A young woman was killed, and two others are in serious condition after a bad car crash last Saturday night. The crash happened around 11:15 Saturday night, on Two Rivers Road, a half mile from Highlandville. Stewart and the other passenger, Jordan Badley, who's 26 years old from Lampe, were both taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Authorities say no one was wearing their seat belt and no other vehicles were involved. Weston Stewart, 22, from Spokane was driving when they ran off the road, struck several trees and overturned, causing all three people to be ejected from the car.
