Darnaby and Thompson were traveling westbound when the car went off the roadway, struck a sign and overturned. The two people in the car, including Thompson, were ejected from the vehicle.
Driver faces manslaughter charge after fatal crash in Taney County
The Patrol reports the driver was tested for alcohol. William Darnaby, 21, of Kirbyville was arrested on charges of felony involuntary manslaughter, misdemeanor DWI, careless and imprudent driving and driving without a license or insurance.
