Two children killed in Wednesday night wreck
A collision on Interstate 22 near Sherman on Wednesday claimed the life of two small children.
According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, a car occupied by five people stopped in the eastbound lane and was struck by an 18-wheeler around 11:30 p.m. Master Sgt. Ray Hall confirmed that the two fatalities were small children. Pontotoc County Coroner Kim Bedford said one child was 2, the other 10 months.
