Jerrel Nixon, 64, known as "The Rose Man" was killed in a hit-and-run accident  in the 2600 block of Natural Bridge.  He was in the crosswalk when an alleged 25-year-old drove by, hit him and kept going.  The driver, who police say was speeding, ran the red light before hitting Nixon.  Both the driver and the car were found in the area of Natural Bridge and Parnell.
