27-year-old female bicyclist collides with the side of a city bus at the intersection of North Broadway and Fourth Avenue North, sending her to the hospital in Billings, Montana

Bicyclist, bus collide near Billings library

The street in that area is barricaded by a fence that encloses the demolition site of the old library to the south of the new library. An eyewitness who was on the Parkhill route city bus said she saw the bicyclist and that the bike collided with the bus. Todd Higgins was nearby installing fiber optic cable for the city and witnessed the incident. He said the woman was southbound near the barricade when the bus began to pass and the two collided. 
A 27-year-old female bicyclist was taken to St. Vincent Healthcare to treat injuries following a collision with a city bus at the intersection of North Broadway and Fourth Avenue North, just outside of the public library in Billings, Montana. The incident occured around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, October 15 when the bicyclist hit the side of the bus, both travelling southbound. A nearby fiber optic cable worker lifted the bike off the woman, who was bleeding from the head. No updates regarding the woman's identity and her condition have been released.
