Authorities have identified a 20-year-old Las Vegas man who died in a snowboarding accident at a southern Nevada ski resort.

The snowboarder killed in an accident Tuesday has been identified as 20-year-old Christopher Jeffery Ruby of Las Vegas by the Clark County Coroner's Office.

The snowboarder killed in an accident Tuesday has been identified as 20-year-old Christopher Jeffery Ruby of Las Vegas by the Clark County Coroner's Office.
Ruby died following a snowboard accident at the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort. Emergency crews airlifted him to University Medical Center at approximately 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The resort's president said in a statement, "The entire staff is devastated by this tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victim's family and friends."
