Crash leaves 12-year-old girl injured, unresponsive

A 12-year-old girl remains in critical condition after being hit by a car on Sunday. Deyaveon Jackson was playing with friends near North Nellis Boulevard and East Owens Avenue about 4:30 p.m. when the crash occurred.

12 year old Deyaveon Jackson was playing with friends near North Nellis Boulevard and East Owens Avenue when she thouthtlessly but accidentally entered the roadway and was struck by a car. After sustaining serious injuries she remains in critical condition and a GoFundMe account has been set up for those wishing to help with Deyaveon's recovery. I guess a kid has to be killed to be noticed. My son was in a crosswalk and hit by a car. I know of 2 seperate witnesses had told police officer Lundstrom that he had time to stop. The driver was not even at fault. Guess he had to die in order to get noted.
