Woman killed in car-versus-pedestrian crash in Carson City
Fire and paramedic personnel treated a 46-year-old woman who had been struck by a mini-van while she was crossing the street in the crosswalk. She was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital. Her name has not been released.
A second pedestrian walking with her was not hit.

46-year-old Milissa Victorino of Carson City was walking westbound in the marked crosswalk at Fairview Drive and Gordon Street. She was hit by the van and taken to a hospital, where she died of injuries sustained in the crash.
