New Hampshire flagger dead after being struck by car

FITZWILLIAM, N.H. (AP) — Police say a flagger directing traffic around a work zone in New Hampshire was struck and killed. WMUR-TV reports (bit.ly/1RFkISC) that 63-year-old Edward Weeks of Surry was hit by an SUV at about 8:30 a.m. Friday on Route 12 in Fitzwilliam. He was an employee of New England Traffic Control.

Few details released about cause of January crash that killed Surry flagger

More than two months after a flagger was struck and killed by a vehicle on Route 12, police have not revealed the outcome of their investigation and an inspection by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration is ongoing.
