Cause of head-on crash that killed teen under investigation, police say
The cause of the crash remains under active investigation by the Scotch Plains Traffic Bureau and the Union County Traffic Bureau.

The memorial includes pucks with handwritten tributes arranged into the number 8, along with flowers and photographs of Triano, who was a NJ Devils Youth Hockey Player for 12 years and a star defenseman for the Jonathan Dayton High School hockey team. The Kenilworth resident also was a youth hockey referee.
