Three injured following car accident on Route 49 in Fairfield Township, NJ

Fairfield Township car accident along Route 49 hospitalizes passengers

Two of the victims were airlifted to Cooper University Hospital, in Camden, and are in critical condition. The third victim was transported by ambulance to Inspira Health Center, in Bridgeton.
A single-car crash reported around 3 a.m. Sunday injured three, all of whom were ejected from their vehicle during the accident. The crash happened along Route 49 near Waldens Drive, which is located near Fairfield Township School. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed through an NJ Transit bus stop before hitting a tree. Two of the victims were flown to Cooper University Hospital, in Camden, and are in critical condition. The third victim was transported by ambulance to Inspira Health Center, in Bridgeton. New Jersey State Police were not immediately available for additional comment.
