A township man suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital via helicopter Monday afternoon when the car he was driving struck a tree, Hillsborough police said this morning.
Alexander Beers was driving on River Road when he lost control of his vehicle and it left the roadway, striking a tree. He suffered serious injuries and was flown to the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital trauma unit in New Brunswick. Hillsborough police are asking anyone with information on the accident to call the department at 908-369-4323, ext. 8.
