Man suffers minor injuries after his SUV leaves roadway and crashes in Assunpink Creek near Trenton.

A man is recovering after police say he crashed his vehicle into a creek in Trenton.

The man was driving his SUV at North Clinton Avenue and Mulberry Street late Monday afternoon when he somehow lost control and went into the Assunpink Creek.

Rescue crews quickly responded to the scene and managed to pull the man out from the water. The man suffered minor injuries and is currently being treated.

Crews are now pulling the vehicle out of the creek. No one else was hurt during the crash.
