I-40 EB closed at Atrisco Vista after fatal pedestrian crash

The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office closed eastbound I-40 at Atrisco Vista in Albuquerque Friday evening just before 9 p.m. after a fatal crash involving a pedestrian. BCSO spokesman Aaron Williamson said the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, but did not provide any information regarding the circumstances of the crash.
