BCSO initially said two people were killed in the crash. In an update, authorities said one person was killed and one person has been transported to the hospital.

Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office said, on Twitter, that the vehicle rolled 100 feet down the mountain.

Hunter started his career with MDC in March of 2014 as a corrections officer. He was promoted to sergeant in October of last year. He was also a member of MDC's Corrections Emergency Response Team.
