Abq man dead, three – including Rio Arriba deputy – injured in Santa Fe crash Thursday
A spokesman for the Rio Arriba County Sheriff’s Office confirmed this morning that a female deputy was a passenger in one of the two vehicles involved in the crash that took place abut 4 p.m. Thursday. Capt. Randy Sanches said the deputy is in guarded condition. He wouldn’t identify the deputy but said the sheriff’s office planned to issue a news release.

The other vehicle involved was a truck with Taos County Sheriff’s Deputy Ted Garcia and his wife Rio Arriba County Sheriff’s Deputy Cindy Garcia.
