The Sheriff’s Office said Thering’s 2014 Kawasaki was traveling west on Route 18 when it rounded a curve and struck the passenger side of a 2013 Toyota Tacoma that was turning left onto Harris Road.

Daniel H. Thering has died after colliding with a pickup in Orleans County at the intersection of Harris Road and Roosevelt Highway. Police said the motorcycle may have been speeding.
