State police release name of driver killed in Fredonia collision.

The 49-year-old pickup truck driver killed Monday afternoon in a collision on State Route 60 has been identified as Carolanne T. Boulionis of Melbourne, Australia. State Police said she had come to the U.S. as a visitor for the past four to five weeks and was staying on Hopkins Street in Jamestown.

State Police said she had come to the U.S. as a visitor for the past four to five weeks and was staying on Hopkins Street in Jamestown. State Police said Boulionis lost control of her vehicle and struck another truck on State Route 60 about 300 feet south of Shumla Road in the Town of Pomfret at about 1:20 p.m. Monday. An SUV headed south behind one of the trucks slammed into the two other vehicles. Boulionis was taken by ambulance to Brooks Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The other truck driver, Matthew J. Wick, 50, of Cattaraugus, was taken to Brooks Hospital complaining of chest pains. The driver of the SUV, Alexander C. Thurston, 32, of Silver Creek, was not injured.
