Three injured in Orleans County crash.

Three people were injured in a one vehicle crash in the Town of Murray Friday night.

Three people were injured in a the crash of a SUV in the Town of Murray Friday night, Orleans County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Listed in guarded condition is Scott A. Kuhn, 40, of Holley, who was driving east on Lynch Road about 7 p.m., when he apparently lost control of the SUV and went off the south side of the road, down a slight embankment and flipped over before striking a tree.

Kuhn was trapped in the wreckage for more than two hours before being freed by volunteer firefighters. He was flown to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester by Mercy Flight.

Kuhn’s two daughters, ages 12 and 13, were able to free themselves from the wreckage and were taken to Strong by ambulance, with injuries described as non-life threatening.

Slippery road conditions and imprudent speed were contributing factors in the crash, according to deputies, who were assisted by state troopers.

The crash occurred shortly after 7 p.m.
