At least five ambulances also responded to the scene, and paramedics performed chest compressions on at least one person.

Police say the impact of the crash was so devastating that the car that was hit flew almost 70 yards down the alley, crashing through a pole and a garage.

36-year-old Tishara Pugh was killed when her car was hit by a car police say was fleeing after being stolen. Pugh was a mother of five. A passenger in Pugh's vehicle is still in critical condition.

Tishara left behind five children ranging in age from 13, all the way down to 10 months. Pugh said her family was forced to share the bad news with them.

Man charged in crash that killed mother of 5 Sunday

He was charged with second degree manslaughter and four counts of second degree assault in connection to the crash. Police say additional charges may be considered by a Monroe County Grand Jury.
