Investigators said 44-year-old Kejon Burks, of Milton, Vermont, was driving on State Route 122 near Westville just after 10:30 p.m. when his sedan left the roadway and struck a tree. Burks and a passenger, 50-year-old Constance Cortez, of Colchester, Vermont, died during the crash.
