Eakin was traveling north on Route 414 when her vehicle went off the road and struck a tree around 7:30 a.m. between Meads Hill Road and County Route 18 in the Town of Dix, according to the Sheriff’s Office, which is investigating the cause of the accident.
Two patients were flown to Rochester by LifeNet, and another by Mercy Flight.
