Police say a person was struck and killed by an MTA bus in Queens Monday evening, authorities say.
Police say a person was struck and killed by an MTA bus in Queens Monday evening, authorities say. The victim was struck by a bus on the Q53 line near the intersection of 74th Street and Roosevelt Avenue in Jackson Heights, FDNY EMS and MTA say. The victim has not been identified. It's not clear if slippery roads played a role in the accident. Eight inches of heavy, wet snow fell across New York City Monday.

Street are too dim. The city is playing games with street lamp there are days and avenue can be bright and the next day its ptich dark. ALL of the city streets are dark and highway. On 23 rd street between 82 and 90 street all the streets lamps are out. it been like that since december. It was bloomberg that pig who has reduce to save cost. Just on 21 street and astoria a pedestrain was almost hit. He was jwalking but he could not be seen. Stop the madess. bloomberg leave our city your are the worse.
