A Long Island man was killed Tuesday morning following a harrowing head-on car crash in Brooklyn, officials said.

A Long Island man was killed Tuesday morning following a harrowing head-on car crash in Brooklyn, officials said.

Nikon Bouyiousklis, 60, of Valley Stream, died from the injuries he sustained during the 4:45 a.m. crash on Remsen Ave. near Glenwood Rd. in Canarsie, officials said.

Bouyiousklis was behind the wheel of a Toyota Camry when he was hit by an Infiniti G37 sedan at the intersection.

Paramedics rushed Bouyiousklis to Brookdale University Hospital, where he died, officials said.

The 25-year-old driver of the Infiniti, who was also injured, was taken into custody at the hospital, officials said. Charges were pending.

A third person was treated at the scene, officials said.
