2 people hospitalized after ambulance, school bus collide on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, New York

2 hurt in Brooklyn ambulance-school bus crash

There were no children in the bus and the ambulance was not carrying a patient during the collision shortly after 5 a.m. Friday. Two people in the ambulance complained of back pain and were taken to a hospital. Police say the ambulance was making a U-turn on Atlantic Avenue when it was struck by the bus as it headed west on Atlantic.
