Two People Die in Fatal Route 211 Accident in Montgomery

"It's very sad, the two deceased were in their 20s and it was a male and a female. That's all I can really say at this time," said Town of Montgomery Police Chief Arnold Amthor.

The driver of the bread truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries, as for what caused the accident, that's still under investigation.

The crash delayed the opening of the elementary school for two hours, and traffic was rerouted around the area for three to four hours, said Mayor Stephen Brescia.
Two people, a male and female in their 20s, died early Tuesday morning following the collision between a car and a bread truck. The inident occured just outside of Hudson Valley elementary school in Montgomery, New York on Route 211 around 5:30 a.m. The two people in the car died at the scene, and the driver of the truck received minor, non life-threatening injuries.
