Two men arrested following hit-and-run auto crash investigation

Gennodie was arraigned on both charges by Judge Klein who remanded him to the Westchester County Jail.
Troopers arrived on scene and discovered that the driver of a 1996 Honda, Alvin T. Banks, age 52, of Cortlandt, New York, had backed into a 2006 Honda CRV and attempted to flee the scene at about 8:30 p.m. Following a detailed investigation, it was discovered that Banks was intoxicated at the time of the crash.  He was subsequently charged with Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor, and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Auto Accident. Further investigation revealed that Banks was assaulted by Glenn Gennodie, age 45, of Brewster, New York, following the accident. Gennodie was a passenger in the CRV and got into a physical altercation with Banks after Banks had attempted to leave the scene of the accident.  Banks was transported to Hudson Valley Hosptial by Mohegan Lake EMS.  Due to the severity of Banks’ injuries, he was later transported to Westchester Medical Hospital where he is being treated with a head injury and a broken jaw.
