Female pedestrian critically injured in collision with driver Luigi Tucci, 71, at Richmond Road and Amboy Road in New Dorp, New York
Driver, 71, charged in pedestrian crash on Richmond Rd.
The preliminary investigation indicated that the woman was crossing in the crosswalk at the intersection when she was struck by Tucci, who was making a left turn from Richmond Road in a gray, 2014 Toyota Tacoma, police allege.
The driver remained at the scene, police said.
