Man, 20, Killed in Crash With County Bus on Long Island: Cops

A 20-year-old man was killed when the car he was driving collided with a county bus Monday on Long Island, police said. Zachary Rauso was driving a 1999 Mercury southbound on Dare Road in Selden just before 6 p.m. when he crashed with a Suffolk Transit bus travelling northbound on Dare Road, Suffolk County police said. The 52-year-old bus driver, Leonard Secaira, and the one passenger on the bus were taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Anyone who may have seen the crash is asked to call detectives at 631-854-8652.
