Their boat was taking on water faster than they could bail it out, so 82-year-old Ivan Delustovich tried to grab a pair of life jackets for himself and his friend, 84-year-old Anthony Accardo.

Anthony Accardo, 84, of Prince's Bay, a retired hospital HVAC supervisor and a loving uncle whose passions were fishing and gardening, died Oct. 14, after the boat he was aboard capsized in Raritan Bay.

A small boat capcised in Great Kills Harbor near Mansion Avenue on Staten Island, NY Tuesday morning. The two boaters on board were taken to Staten Island University Hospital South where one is in serious condition, and the other was pronounced dead.
