Linda Chandler killed in car crash at Elizabeth Avenue and Oak Grove Road in Shelby, North Carolina

The victim in a fatal crash in Shelby has been identified as a teacher at Cleveland Community College, according to North Carolina troopers. Friday at the intersection of Elizabeth Avenue and Oak Grove Road. According to reports, Chandler was driving east on Elizabeth Avenue and pulled in front of a car traveling west on Oak Grove Road, colliding head-on. Troopers say Linda Chandler taught a Psychology at the college. Speed and alcohol are reportedly not factors and no one was charged in the crash.
