4 seriously hurt after two car crash in North Carolina.

Four people were hurt Thursday in a crash in Kernersville.

Authorities with the Kernersville Police Department said the crash happened in the 2400 block of West Mountain Street about 6 p.m.

Investigators said a woman and a young girl in a Nissan Altima were injured, and a man and a woman in a Dodge Caravan were also hurt.

The victims were taken to North Carolina Baptist Hospital.

Officials said all of the victims suffered serious injuries.

West Mountain Street was closed while the crash was investigated.
