A 19-year-old has been charged with felony hit and run following the death of a High Point firefighter who was riding a bike.
A 19-year-old has been charged with felony hit and run following the death of a High Point firefighter who was riding a bike. Fire Equipment Operator Todd Martinez was hit by a vehicle in Summerfield, investigators said. He died from his injuries at Moses Cone Hospital. Andrew Bray Barham, 19, was charged with one count of felony hit and run, said the Guilford County District Attorney's Office. He's out on bail and is scheduled to appear in court March 6. The state Highway Patrol is investigating the collision and plans to release more details to the media at 2 p.m. Monday. Arrangements are pending.
