Husband and wife killed in boat crash
A Virginia couple was killed in a boat crash on the Chowan River Saturday, where the Nottoway and Black River meet, according to officials.

Around 2:45 p.m., two boats collided on the Chowan River where the Nottoway and Black River meet. A bass boat with two men onboard struck another bass boat carrying a husband and wife. The boat with the two men ran over the top of the couple, killing them. The men in the other boat were not injured.
