Woman charged in motorcyclist's death near downtown Raleigh
Police say Alsabry hit Gillespie near Maywood Avenue with a white work van that she was driving. He was taken to WakeMed, where he died.
A man died in a motorcycle wreck that closed part of South Saunders Street near downtown Raleigh. Alsabry was charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle. Gillespie died at the hosptial.
