Officials: One dead in Spring Lake car wreck :: WRAL.com

A head-on collision early Tuesday morning in Spring Lake killed one person, officials said. The two-car wreck occurred shortly before 4:30 a.m. on Bill Shaw Road and N.C. Highway 210, according to the N.C. State Highway Patrol. A vehicle traveling northbound on Highway 210 drove into the center turn lane to make a left turn onto Bill Shaw Road, troopers said. Another car traveling south crossed the center line and hit the northbound car head on, killing the driver of the southbound vehicle.
