Arizona woman charged in fatal crash in North Dakota

WILLISTON, N.D. (AP) - An Arizona woman is facing charges in a fatal crash in the western North Dakota oil patch. Eckert was charged Wednesday with felony negligent homicide and misdemeanor aggravated reckless driving. Court documents do not list an attorney for Eckert, and a home telephone listing for her could not be found. She could face up to seven years in prison if convicted. McKenzie County woman charged in crash

Police say she was behind the wheel of an eastbound pickup on Highway 73 the morning of Dec. 1 when she drove through a stop sign at the road’s intersection with Highway 22 and slammed into an SUV that was slowing to make a turn.
