Crews were called to the scene at Paddock Road and Laidlaw Avenue where one car had caught fire.
Victims identified in fiery Bond Hill crash
It happened just after 1 a.m. Saturday, March 18, on Paddock Rd. at Laidlaw Ave.
Investigators said Paul Jessen, 56, lost control and struck a utility pole. His vehicle caught fire.
Jessen was pronounced dead at the scene.
His passenger, Jerrell Smith, 47, was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where his condition is listed as serious, but stable.
