One woman is dead after Akron police say two motorcycles crashed during a motorcycle rally that was traveling though Akron.

Woman dies, two others injured during memorial ride crash in Akron

AKRON, Ohio '€” A woman died in a crash during a memorial motorcycle rally Sunday on Interstate 76 eastbound. The suspected drunken driver was arrested, police said. The crash closed the eastbound lanes for about an hour. A suspected drunken driver then caused another crash involving multiple cars, police said. All eastbound lanes were closed as of 10 p.m.

Richelle Campbell of Flagstone Drive was involved in a crash with two other motorcycles during a memorial run that came through Akron shortly before 8 p.m., said Capt. Dan Zampelli of the Akron Police Department.
