A motorcyclist died in a crash on U.S. route 42 in Lexington Monday afternoon.
Motorcyclist, 23, dies in Lexington crash
The crash involved a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle and 2008 Dodge minivan. The motorcycle was traveling west on Main Street (U.S. 42) and the van was stopped facing south in an alley. Evidence at the scene indicates that the motorcycle struck the curb, lost control and then struck the van, according to the patrol.
