A car crashed into the wooded area at the intersection of Wilmington Dayton Road and Conference Road in Sugarcreek Township, killing one person and injuring three others.

A preliminary investigation found the car was traveling northeast on Wilmington Dayton Road when the driver ran a stop sign, crashed into a guardrail, overturned and hit several trees, state troopers said.
