A man died hours after he crashed into a pole in North Linden early yesterday morning. This is the second traffic fatality this year in Columbus.

Police said Davis went of the east side of the road, struck a utility pole continued through a private driveway before his vehicle came to rest against a fence.

Fatal Crash in North Linden Early Saturday

Police say the cause of the accident is still under investigation and that this is Columbus' 2nd traffic-related fatality of the year. 
Vincent Davis, 29, was driving south on Karl Road north of Oakland Park Avenue when he lost control of his car just before 2 a.m., according to accident investigators. He crossed the roadway and hit a utility pole on the east side of Karl Road, coming to rest against a fence. Davis was sent to OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in life-threatening condition and died at 6:38 p.m. yesterday. Be sure to check for updates on this story as they emerge.

Im so sorry for the family. Im forever praying. Be strong. He was always respectful and sweet and a wonderful petson, and i know he loved his kids with everything in him...
