The Franklin County Sheriff's Office confirmed one person was killed and two other were injured.
I-270 south is closed between W. Broad Street and I-70. Cars in the area will be forced to exit onto I-70.

The Franklin County Sheriff's Department said the driver of a 2006 Chevy Avalanche was travelling in the center lane of 270 and crossed two lanes before hitting a Ford Taurus that was stopped in traffic.
