Double Fatal Crash Brings Concerns About the Age of the Driver

Right now, state troopers are investigating a crash that killed a husband and wife, from Marion. OSHP says an 85-year-old driver lost control of his car on U.S. 23, Near Troutman Road, in Troy Township, Thursday afternoon, killing John and Lisa Schade.

 “It’s like a knot in your stomach that you can’t get rid of. My sense of self has changed. I don’t feel like myself.” Leathers was convicted on Nov. 12 of two misdemeanor counts of vehicular homicide, for which he is to be sentenced today.
No charges have been made yet, but the accident has sparked a debate about potential age-limits for driving.
