I-75 shut down for fiery wrong-way fatal crash, tanker fire in Dayton

The Dayton Police Department confirmed the fiery crash involving a car and tanker truck is fatal.

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office is on scene after at least one person was killed.

The large fire that resulted in the gasoline tanker truck burned for hours. Smoke could be seen for miles.

Wrong-way driver crashes into oil tanker causing massive fire in Ohio

A 30-year-old driver going the wrong way on an Ohio interstate collided into a semi-tanker carrying gasoline on Sunday evening causing a massive fire, reports CBS affiliate WHIO-TV in Dayton, Ohio.

The crash on Interstate-75 left the driver dead while the truck driver suffered minor injuries, according to the Dayton Police Department.

Coroner identifies wrong-way driver killed in I-75 explosion

The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of Sunday’s crash as 30-year-old Andrew Brunsman of Beavercreek.
